(1)
The owner or person in charge of any place, premises, vehicle or vessel is under a duty to give to the Director or authorised officer all reasonable assistance to enable the Director or authorised officer to carry out his duties and functions under this Enactment and shall furnish the Director or any authorised officer with such information as he may reasonably require.
(2)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction –

(a)
if a corporate body to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit;
and
(b)
if not a corporate body to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand ringgit, or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.
Offence to purchase fish caught by using explosive substance, explosive projectile, natural poisonous substance or poisonous chemical substance.
