Examination of judgment debtor

Section 178
(1)
On the day fixed for the hearing of the judgment debtor summons, the Court may examine the judgment debtor or other witnesses on iqrar.
(2)
If the judgment debtor is not present on the day fixed for the hearing of the summons, the Court may –
(a)
order that he may be arrested and brought to the Court to be examined; or
(b)
make an order under subsection (3) against the judgment debtor.
(3)
The Court may order the judgment debtor to pay the Judgment debt either –
(a)
immediately in lump sum or within such time as may be fixed by the
Court; or
(b)
by any instalment to be paid at the time fixed by the Court.
