(1)
Service of summons or other document may, unless the Court otherwise orders, be proved by affidavit of the person who effected service and, where the service was personal and the person served was not personally known to him, by the affidavit of the person who identified the person to be served.
(2)
The person served shall sign an acknowledgement of service, but refusal or inability so to sign shall not affect the validity of the service.
