Section 17
(1)
Any person who instigates or induces any Muslim not toattend mosque or religious teachings or any religious ceremonyshall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable toa fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to imprisonment fora term not exceeding six months or to both.
(2)
Any person who in any manner prevents another personfrom paying zakat or fitrah shall be guilty of an offence and shallon conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding two thousandringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year orto both.
