Section 215

Refusing to answer a public officer authorized to question

Whoever, being legally bound to state the truth of any subject to any public officer, refuses to answer any question demanded of him touching that subject by such officer, in the exercise of the legal powers of such officer, shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding two thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.
