Amendment of application for registration of trademark

Section 33
(1)
The Registrar may, at the request of the applicant, amend an application for the registration of a trademark at any time before registration.
(2)
The request under subsection (1) shall be made in the form as determined by the Registrar together with the payment of the prescribed fee.
(3)
Any amendment to an application for the registration of trademark shall only be made in relation to—
(a)
the name or address of the applicant;
(b)
errors of wording or copying; or
(c)
obvious mistakes, and only where the amendment does not substantially affect the identity of the trademark or extend the goods or services covered by the application.
