If at any time the Constitution does not contain provisions set out in the First Schedule to this Act, the Board shall take such steps as may be necessary for giving effect to the provisions aforesaid or for removing the inconsistent provisions in the Constitution.

Without prejudice to subsection (2), the Yang di-Pertuan

Agong may, at any time, amend the Constitution so as to bring it into accord with the provisions of the First Schedule to this Act.

The provisions of the Constitution shall take effect from such date as may be appointed by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and shall have the force of law within Malaysia.

Anything done or appointment made for and on behalf of the

University prior to the date of the coming into force of the

Constitution shall, on and after that date, be deemed to be made for, by or on behalf of the University.
