Tenure of office of members of the Council
(2)
A member who is appointed under section 5(1)(h) shall be deemed to have vacated his office—
(a)
if his appointment is terminated by the Yang di-Pertua
Negeri;
(b)
if he becomes an undischarged bankrupt;
(c)
if he is disqualified by virtue of any of the provisions of the Companies Act 1965 [Act 125] to hold office as a director of a company registered under that Act;
(d)
if he resigns his office by service of a letter of resignation on the Yang di-Pertua Negeri; or
(e)
if he is absent without leave of the Council for three consecutive meetings of the Council.
(3)
A member of the Council (including an ex officio member)
shall be entitled to reimbursement for any expenses reasonably incurred by him in the performance of his duties and functions under this Ordinance, and for attendance at any meeting of, or any function organized or approved by, the Council.
