Section 82
(1)
The Water Authority may at its discretion change a meter at any time.
(2)
The Water Authority may at its discretion remove the meter from any supply and during the period for which the water is not registered by a meter, the volume of water consumed shall be deemed to be the same as the average volume supplied during a period of three months immediately preceding the removal of the meter provided that the consumer may require a meter to be installed if the period during which the supply has not been metered exceeds twelve months.
