Section 29
(1)
No person shall possess, keep, set, place or use any snare except for the purposes of carrying out wildlife research or study on any wildlife.
(2)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine of not less than fifty thousand ringgit and not more than one hundred thousand ringgit and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years.”.
