Section 60 of the principal Act is amended—

(a)
in subsection (1), by substituting for the words “two years”
the words “three years”; and
(b)
by substituting for subsection (2) the following subsection:
“(2) Any person who commits an offence under subsection (1) and which offence involves any protected wildlife from the same species specified in the Eighth
Schedule, exceeding five heads, shall, on conviction, be punished with a fine of not less than fifty thousand ringgit or with imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or with both.”.
