Section 15
(1)
The Director General shall, in addition to the powers conferred and the functions and duties imposed upon him by any written law, exercise regulatory functions in respect of the provision of abattoir services and the running of abattoir facilities by a licensed operator.
(2)
The Director General shall, with the approval of the Minister, by rules, prescribe such standards of performance in the provision of abattoir services as, in his opinion, ought to be achieved by a licensed operator.
