Unless otherwise directed, any document under these Rules may be served –

Section 23
(a)
on a corporation, body of persons or public officer by delivering it at, or sending it by post to the registered or principal office of the corporation, body or public officer;
(b)
on any other person, by delivering it to him, or by sending it by post to him at his last known or usual place of abode.
