Section 15

The Medical Director of a psychiatric hospital may at any time discharge an involuntary patient from the psychiatric hospital if he is satisfied that—

(a)

it is in the best interest of the patient to discharge him; and

(b)

the patient is not in need of further care or treatment in the psychiatric hospital.
