Section 10A
(1)
No person shall hold himself out as a co-operative society, or represent that he or any other person is carrying on the business of a co-operative society in any form or manner unless he or such other person, as the case may be, is registered under this Act.
(2)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding five million ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to both.
