Section 49

The Bank may require a registered operator of a payment system to comply with all or any standards as may be specified

84 Laws of Malaysia by the Bank under subsection 47(1), or any part of such standards, with such amendments as the Bank deems necessary, if the Bank is of the opinion that it is necessary to promote public confidence in, or for the safety, reliability and efficiency of, the payment systems of Malaysia.
