Section 26 of the principal Act is amended—

(a)
in the shoulder note, by deleting the words “and disabilities of unregistered persons”;
(b)
in subsection (1), by substituting for the words “medicine, surgery and obstetrics and gynaecology” the word
“Medicine”; and

by substituting for subsection (2) the following subsection:
“(2) Subject to sections 15, 16 and 34, no person shall be entitled to recover in any court any such charges as are referred to in subsection (1) unless at the date when such charges accrued he was a fully registered medical practitioner and had an annual practising certificate in force.”.
