(2)
Any person who, on being required by an enforcement officer or police officer to give information under this section, refused to comply with such requirement or furnishes as true any information which he knows or has reason to be false commits an offence.
(3)
Where any information furnished by a person to an enforcement officer or police officer is proved to be untrue or incorrect in whole or in part, it shall be no defence to allege that the information or any part of the information was misinterpreted, or furnished inadvertently or without criminal or fraudulent intent.
