Section 136
Execution of sentences of death
The Minister may make regulations with respect to the execution of sentences of death under this Act whether passed in
Malaysia or elsewhere.
(2)
Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing subsection, regulations under this section may make provision for all or any of the following matters, that is to say:
(a)
the manner and place where such executions are to be carried out; and
(b)
the custody, treatment and removal of persons under sentence of death,

or may authorize such persons as may be specified in or determined by or under the regulations to give directions with respect to all or any of those matters.
(3)
Such provost marshal or other provost officer not below the rank of major or its equivalent as may be specified in or determined under regulations under this section shall be responsible for the due execution of any sentence of death passed under this Act.
