Powers of Registrar

Section 5
(1)
The Registrar shall have all such powers to do all things necessary or expedient for or in connection with the performance of his functions under this Act.
(2)
Without prejudice to the generality of subsection (1), the powers of the Registrar shall include the power—
(a)
to appoint such agents, experts or consultants as he thinks fit to assist him in the performance of his functions;
(b)
to enter into contracts;
(c)
to establish and maintain the Register;
(d)
to collect such fees as may be prescribed under this Act;
and
(e)
to do all such other things as he thinks fit to enable him to perform his functions effectively or which may be incidental to or consequential upon the performance of his functions.
