Section 27
In order for the Council to carry out effectively the functions and powers of the Council and the role of the Council as the principal coordinating agency the Council may request—
(a)
from any Government entity, such assistance and such information in their possession as may be required by the
Council; and
(b)
from any Government entity and body and person, whether local or foreign, engaged in carrying out or intending to carry out development in the East Coast
Economic Region to submit reports, containing such particulars and information as may be specified by the
Council, regarding their activities or proposed activities.
