Section 40
(1)
A person shall, if at any time requested by the Commission by written notice, allow the Commission or its authorized officers or any other person specified by the Commission in the written notice, access to his or its records for the purpose of carrying out the Commission’s functions and powers under this Act.

(2)
Any person who fails to comply with the written notice under subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding twenty thousand ringgit.
