Section 43
(1)
An authorized officer shall have all the powers necessary to carry out an investigation in relation to the commission of an offence under this Act.
(2)
In any case relating to the commission of an offence under this Act, any authorized officer carrying out an investigation may exercise all or any of the powers relating to police investigation, except the power to arrest without warrant, given by the Criminal Procedure Code [Act 593].
