Section 44

(1)

Any owner who shall sell, hire out or transfer permanently or temporarily to any person any machinery for which a certificate of fitness has been issued shall, within ten days of the sale, hiring out or transfer, give notice thereof in writing to an Inspector and a licensed person.

(2)

Any person, being a person who purchases for resale used machinery for which a certificate of fitness is prescribed, shall within ten days of reselling any such machinery, give notice thereof in writing to an Inspector and a licensed person in such manner as may be prescribed.
