Section 10

set up, operate or cause to be operated any fishing stake or stow net;

have in his possession or on board a vessel any fishing stake or stow net; or

use such other fishing appliances or part thereof which are not exempted under the Second Schedule, without a licence issued by the State Fisheries Officer.

Any person who contravenes any of the provisions of subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence: Penalty, a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or imprisonment not exceeding two years, or both.
