Power to exempt from compliance with the Act

Section 73
(1)
The Minister may, by notice published in the Gazette, exempt any company or class of companies or any person or class of persons from complying with all or any of the provisions of this Act in relation to any interest or class of interests specified in the notice.
(2)
The notice in subsection (1) may provide that an exemption may be subject to the terms and conditions specified in the notice.

(3)
The company and every officer who contravene any term or condition specified in the notice of exemption commit an offence.
