Section 36D
(2)
For the purposes of section 380 of the Criminal Procedure
Code [Act 593], an officer or employee of the Authority authorized under subsection (1) shall be deemed to be a public officer.
(3)
For the purposes of this section, any person shall include—
(a)
any director, officer or employee of the Authority who has been admitted as an advocate and solicitor under the Legal
Profession Act 1976; or
(b)
any advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya or the High Court of Sabah and Sarawak, as the case may be.
