The Public Authorities Protection Act 1948 shall apply to any action, suit, prosecution or proceedings against the Authority or against any member of the Authority, any member of a committee, or any officer, servant or agent of the Authority in respect of any act, or omission done or omitted by it or him in such capacity.
Authority
“Authority” means the Labuan Financial Services Authority established under section 3;
The person referred to in subsection (1) shall for the purposes of the application of the Public Authorities Protection Act 1948, be deemed to be a public officer or a person engaged or employed in the performance of a public duty.

“Labuan financial services” means any service provided by any person under any of the laws specified in the Schedule;
