Section 10
Appointment and duties of Registrar
of Land Surveyors Ordinance, 2001

(1)
The Secretary of the Board, appointed under section 7, shall be the Registrar of land surveyors who shall be under the general direction of the Board and who shall sign all licences and record all entries of registration, cancellations and reinstatements in the
Register.
(2)
The Registrar shall—
(a)
as soon as may be convenient after the first day of
January of each year, prepare and publish in the Gazette a list containing the names and addresses of all land surveyors whose names appear in the Register; and
(b)
from time to time publish in the Gazette the names and addresses of land surveyors added to or removed from the
Register.
(3)
In any proceedings, a list published under subsection (2)
shall be prima facie proof that the persons whose names appear therein are land surveyors; and the absence of the name of any person from such list shall be prima facie proof that the person is not a land surveyor.
(4)
The Registrar may annually publish and offer for sale copies of the Register.
