Section 12
—
(1)
The Registrar shall, upon receipt of the fees prescribed in the Second Schedule, issue to any person whose name is registered in the Register, a licence to practise as a licensed land surveyor in the form prescribed in the Third Schedule.
(2)
Every licence issued under subsection (1) shall be for a period expiring on the 31st day of December of the year in which it is issued.
(3)
Unless the registration of the land surveyor has been cancelled or suspended or has become null and void under section 13, the licence issued under subsection (1) may be renewed annually, before the 31st day of January of each year, upon payment of the renewal fees prescribed in the Second Schedule.
