(2)
The Rural Government Ordinance [Cap. 132.] is amended –
(a)
by deleting the long title and substituting therefor the following:
"to make provisions for the administration of rural areas and the powers, duties and responsibilities of Native Chiefs and Headmen.”;
(b)
by deleting. the word “Government” wherever it appears in capital letters or otherwise therein and substituting therefor the word “Administration”;
(c)
by repealing sections 2 to 34 inclusive; 48 to 52 inclusive and 56 to 59
inclusive.

(3)
The Public Health Ordinance, 1960 [Ord. No. 7 of 1960.], is amended by deleting from section 2 thereof the definitions of “local authority” and “urban area”.
(4)
The following definitions of “local authority” are repealed –
(a)
in section 2 of the Paupers Ordinance [Cap. 93.];
(b)
in section 2 of the Fire Prevention Ordinance [Cap. 47.];
(c)
in section 2 of the Electricity Ordinance [Cap. 40.].
