Section 76

(1)

Any timber found adrift, beached, stranded, sunk or abandoned or which is not in the possession or under the control of any person shall be deemed to be the property of the State

Authority until any person establishes his right thereto as hereinafter provided.

(2)

The Director or any forest officer duly authorized by him may collect and bring such timber to a convenient place pending action under section 77.
