Section 23
—
(1)
From the date of constitution of a national park or a nature reserve, the place so constituted shall be the property of the
Government of Sarawak and shall, subject to this Ordinance, be managed and controlled by the Controller.
(2)
Nothing in this Part shall authorize the Controller to grant any permit or licence to any person who is not a member of the public service of the State to take away, remove any wild life for research purposes without the prior approval of the Chief Executive Officer the
Sarawak Biodiversity Council.
