Curfew
of National Security Council Act 2016
The Director of Operations may, in writing, order all persons in the security area or any part of the security area to remain indoors between such hours as may be specified in the order unless he is in possession of a written permit in that behalf issued by the Director of
Operations.
(2)
No order under this section shall apply to—
(a)
the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, a Ruler or Yang di-Pertua
Negeri;
(b)
any member of the Security Forces or personnel of other
Government Entities when acting in the course of his duty in the security area; or

(c)
any person or class of persons exempted from the order by the Director of Operations.
(3)
Any person who fails to comply with the order under subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.
