Section 20
Mode of registration
(1)
Subject to the provisions of this Act and regulations made thereunder, any person who seeks to be registered under this Act may apply to the Registrar in the prescribed form.
(2)
Registration under this Act shall be effected by entering in the
Register the applicant’s particulars as prescribed upon payment of the prescribed fee.
(3)
Every entry in the Register shall be signed by the Chairman.
(4)
Where a person is registered under this Act, the Council shall cause to be issued to him a certificate of registration under the hand of the Chairman.
(5)
This section shall apply to an application for provisional registration under subsection 18(3) and to the provisional registration itself.
