(1)
Nothing in this Act shall be deemed to confer upon any person any claim, title, right or interest to or in any land for the purposes of any written law relating to registration of titles.

Where there is any conflict or inconsistency between this
Act and any other written law relating to tenancies or leases, this
Act shall prevail.
