Prohibition of similar application when earlier application still pending appeal
(2)
In the event that any licence is granted as a result of a subsequent application made in the circumstances specified in subsection (1), the licence so granted shall be void and shall have no effect.
(3)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding twenty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding twelve months or to both.
