Commission may give security for duty on goods in licensed warehouse

Section 56
(1)
If any warehouse of the Commission is approved and appointed as a licensed warehouse under any written law for the time being in force, the Commission may give general security by bond or otherwise for payment of the import duty payable in respect of goods stored in the licensed warehouse, or for the due exportation of the goods.

(2)
When security has been given by the Commission as aforesaid, no further security shall be required by the Government from any other person to the same effect.
