Preamble

PADA menjalankan kuasa-kuasa yang diberi kepadanya oleh seksyen 6 (4) Akta Perlembagaan (Pindaan) (No. 2), 1973, Yang di-Pertuan Agong dengan ini membuat perintah yang berikut:

Perintah ini bolehlah dinamakan Perintah Wilayah Persekutuan (Pengubahsuaian Enakmen Air), 1974 dan hendaklah mula berkuatkuasa pada 1hb Februari, 1974.

Seksyen 2

Perundangan kecil yang dibuat di bawah Enakmen Air hendak-lah dibaca dengan perubahan-perubahan yang bersamaan tentang nama-nama atau nama-nama jawatan sebagaimana yang perlu untuk menyelaraskan perundangan kecil itu dengan Enakmen itu sebagaimana diubahsuai sedemikian.

CONSTITUTION (AMENDMENT) (No.2) ACT, 1973

In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 6 (4) of the Constitution (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1973, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong hereby makes the following order:

1. This order may be cited as the Federal Territory (Modification of the Waters Enactment) Order, 1974 and shall come into force on 1st February, 1974.

2. (1) The modifications specified in the Schedule, being modifications which appear to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to be necessary or expedient for the purpose of removing difficulties or in consequence of the passing of the Constitution (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1973 shall be made in the provisions of the Waters Enactment.

(2)

Subsidiary legislation made under the Waters Enactment shall be read with such corresponding alterations as to names or titles as may be necessary to bring that subsidiary legislation into accord with that Enactment as so modified.
