Section 18

The copy of the permit issued to the owner of any vessel shall at all times be kept on board the vessel to which such permit relates in the custody of the master of such vessel, and the master shall produce the permit to any Riverine Transport Officer, Marine Officer or Police Officer who shall demand to see the same. Any master neglecting or failing to produce such permit when so demanded shall be guilty of an offence: Penalty, imprisonment for six months and a fine of two thousand ringgit.
