Change of owner of a heritage object

Section 52
(1)
Any person who purchases or acquires a heritage object shall, within twenty eight days of the date of the purchase or acquisition, notify the Director in writing of that purchaser or acquirer’s name, particulars and address.
(2)
Any change to the information under subsection (1) shall be notified to the Director in writing within twenty eight days.
(3)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) or (2) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.
