Section 53
(1)
The owner or custodian of a heritage object shall keep the heritage object in good condition and in a secure place.
(2)
The owner or custodian of a heritage object shall immediately report to the Director any loss or damage to such heritage object or any part of it upon discovery of such loss or damage.
(3)
Any person who fails to comply with subsection (1) or (2) commits an offence.
