Section 117
—
(1)
The
Commissioner or authorized officer conducting a search under section 114 or 115 shall be given access to computerized data whether stored in a computer or otherwise.
(2)
For the purposes of this section, “access”—
(a)
includes being provided with the necessary password, encryption code, decryption code, software or hardware and any other means required to enable comprehension of computerized data; and
(b)
has the meaning assigned to it in sections 2(2) and
(5)
of the Computer Crimes Act 1997 [Act 563].
