Section 50
Islamic doctrines or Hukum Syarak, contrary to any fatwa issued by the Mufti and published in the Gazette, shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both and the fatwa if written shall be forfeited and destroyed as directed by the Court.
