Section 69
(1)
Any woman who, during the period of iddah, wilfully marries another man shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding three thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.
(2)
Whoever wilfully solemnises a marriage, which is an offence under subsection
(1)
, shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding three thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.
