Section 65

Whoever orally or in writing or by deed wilfully commits bid'ah or argues in matters relating to bid'ah or argues in matter of furu' concerning Islamic piety to the extent of causing an argument or disunity or breach of the peace within the local Muslim community shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.

Whoever abets the commission of an offence under subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.
