Section 31
(1)
Subject to section 34, any registered trade union may, with the consent of more than one-half of its members or delegates, change its name.
(2)
Notwithstanding subsection (1), a trade union may change its name without the consent of its members or delegates if there is a change in the name of the establishment being effected under any written law, occupation, ministry, department, or statutory authority, as the case may be, in respect of which the trade union is registered.
