Section 111
(1)
Where the Assistant Controller has reasonable grounds to suspect that any offence is or will be committed under this Act, the
Assistant Controller may conduct such investigation as the
Assistant Controller thinks expedient for the due administration of this Act.
(2)
Any Assistant Controller investigating any commission of an offence under this Act may exercise all or any of the powers in relation to police investigation in seizable cases given by the
Criminal Procedure Code [Act 593].
