Voluntary cancellation of registered trademark

(2)
Before cancelling the registration of the trademark, the
Registrar shall notify—
(a)
any person recorded under Part IX as claiming a right in respect of, or an interest in, the trademark; and
(b)
the person to whom the trademark has been assigned or transmitted in the case where the assignment or transmission of the trademark has not yet been recorded by the Registrar after an application has been made to the Registrar to record such assignment or transmission of the trademark.
