Requirement for special permit

Section 11
Subject to the provisions of this Act, no person shall —
(a)
hunt or keep any totally protected wildlife or take or keep any part or derivative of any totally protected wildlife;
(b)
import, export or re-export any totally protected wildlife or any part or derivative of any totally protected wildlife;
(c)
hunt any protected wildlife during the close season;
(d)
carry on research or study on any totally protected wildlife;
(e)
use any totally protected wildlife for his zoo, circus or wildlife exhibition operation or commercial captive breeding, unless he holds a special permit granted under this Act.
